Hi all, have any of you read the fictional novel series called Children of the Promise which starts with a novel called Rumours of War
A series I loved – very well written it is set around one main LDS Family and the struggles they face throughout the time just as the 2nd world war is starting – and as the books carry on it goes thorugh the war, as the family is seperated and losing loved ones to the War
It also deals with many issues inclduing young influential church youths socialising with more wordly soldiers as they are coming in and out of town
Any other readers of this series?
I read this series and LOVED IT! I wish there were more books like this.. Do you know of any? This thread is kind of old, but I’ll just add this for the benefit of anyone who’s interested: The author of the book is Dean Hughes.
