We’re getting a LOT more viewer traffic than just the active forum users and post count, BTW. Yeah. It’s a good kind of problem. I was getting the same SQL server problem all day. I had to reconnect through the main page today. This Account Has Exceeded Its CPU Quota Please contact this site’s webmaster.

Some hosts don’t do that. At Hostmonster it means your web site is locked out for 5 minutes because you used lots of machine resources in one minute.
My JaguarPC host never does that to me. You might also try a free bb farm.

apart from if the hosting service is working or not… how do I know if I’m posting too much too frequently? Is too much activity from one poster stifling others from being involved in discussions?
Just wondered if there were any guidelines for posting that help make the forum meet its objectives.
😳 Heber13, we have on VERY STRICT rule here about how often someone can comment: Don’t comment more than you want to comment. Period.
Seriously, this is a group of mature adults trying to work through issues and share perspectives in a productive manner. The admins will step in if we feel someone is getting abusive or uncivil, but generally we try hard to be normal participants – and that means some of us comment more than others. Don’t worry; if we feel anyone is monopolizing the discussions, we will let that person know – but I don’t think any of have that concern about any of the current regular commenters.
