I just read the comments on the last quote posted on the home page (from the Gospel of Thomas). Just in case everyone is not aware, SteveEM has been banned from lots of sites in the Bloggernacle for the same reason – bitter and sarcastic tirades. Fwiw, the last paragraph of his second comment on that thread is typical of his participation elsewhere – and he tends to get more and more mocking the longer he participates somewhere. We need to keep an eye on him and his comments. Based on his history, he can canker a discussion and a site very quickly, especially if he feels his view is accepted.
Good to know the background. The name sounded really familiar, so I clicked over to his personal blog. It is dedicated to weaving mormonism and angry curses. It is wierd, and almost not quite anti-mormon … like he wants to fix the institutional Church to his ideals by abusing it? Can’t think of a better way to describe the vibe I got.
