Obviously, we need to let the post go on and see where the comments lead, but is anyone else just a little curious why she seems to be incapable of realizing and saying that these examples she mentions in multiple posts go against everything the Church and the Gospel teach? I know these posts are a cry for help from an emotionally unstable person, but saying LDS family members are involved in incest and laughing about it? Is she really living the kind of life she describes – or she more than a little delusional? (I’m not questioning the incest claims, but lumping doing temple work with laughing about incest together as if they were the same thing . . .)
Reading her post I had two impressions (neither surprising): 1. She is a troubled woman. Sometimes she is coherent and cogent. This post hardly had logic to it beyond the essence of tragedy.
2. I got a strong sense of her trying to get attention. By that, I mean perhaps she is being ignored at home (as in those around her get sick of her, right or wrong as that may be). We are friends with a woman that suffered a brain trauma years ago and had been in a coma, but recovered mostly. She is a nice and sweet woman, sort of like an aunt for our kids. She came over to our house now and then when we still lived in our old place. Anyway, she hardly sleeps and tends to ramble a lot. Her husband and kids I think just plain got worn out at times and ignored her.
I’ve gotten that same sort of vibe from MWallace and especially from Lady_Wisdom (who we booted but still haunts NOM). They have episodes where they seem more agitated or off-kilter.
