For those who have a little room left, after conference, for a beautiful talk on the attonement….here is a link to what is, IMHO, one of the best talks ever by a modern mormon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqwlIP6-6gE It’s in about 9 parts…if you don’t want to listen to the whole thing, parts 4 and 5 are amazing.
I hope this helps someone else as much as it helps me. We, mainstream mormons and us crazy fundamentalist-types alike, lost a great thinker when he passed away. You just don’t hear this kind of “meat” anymore.

Happy Easter, Bruce! Thanks for sharing this.. I enjoyed it! Just something to chew on: Cleon Skousen is a GREAT example, imo, of how we can value some things leaders say and not others things they say. The man was brilliant in his own way, and I really to like much of what he said – but I also run away screaming from much of what he said.
I’m fine with that.
