One of my friends thinks I am going to a Baptist church, since he’s seen me dressed up on a Sunday. I visited one a couple of times recently, but didn’t get into it. So I never contradicted him. Anyhow, yesterday he started ranting that Calvinism is a heresy (he’s a Catholic and bigoted with it), but then said that it was not too bad, but something like “the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints” was not. He said the name in full, and I wonder if he’s on to me. He’s already criticized me for being Presbyterian (my family background).
And yes, he was drunk on something at the time.
I’m sorry, Sam, but all I could think is: “People sure are funny. God really does have an incredible sense of humor if he created us.”
