Most major corporation logos are occult-based. Visual symbols are ancient ways to communicate messages. In the case of global corporations, they want to communicate power and control.
The Starbucks logo has elements of Isis symbolism. And of course, it is plainly based on the mythology of the siren.

GuestI semi-relate to that. I hate Starbucks though, and I’ve never been to a church which has designated parking spaces like that. I have been to more evangelical type churches, but then again, not American ones, so the style is different. However, I did find this nice little advert on the links for this other church. I’m not going to advocate going to this particular church, but the advert is very nicely done. LDS take note –

GuestThat ad made me want to go to their church!!! Hope it isn’t false advertising!LOL August 3, 2010 at 10:20 am #233717Anonymous
GuestI don’t know!!! However, I must point out that watching the original video is LDS 13 (contains coffee use) and may jeopardize your temple recommend.

GuestHere is another ad by the the same church as the one SamBee shared. Again, well done and very touching. A good reminder that belonging to a church… LDS or any other, is not such a bad thing. A lot of the examples of lives being changed could apply to our faith as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3SQlTIjJ2U By the way… the Mormon Messages which can be found on youtube or lds.org are very good as well.

GuestYeah, check this out too – quite funny. Especially the bit about the subscription! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrLzYw6ULYw We have people in the local church here who have suffered various issues, but the overcoming of this issues is rarely discussed in church unfortunately. GAs sometimes touch upon problems in life, but how good it would be if we heard members of the Quorum talking about how they overcame doubt, or substance abuse, or were sorely tempted to steal or commit sexual sin and so on, but it doesn’t happen.
