What are all the concerns cwald has about “walking on eggshells” and “biting his tongue” that he needs to take a break from? Does he just have a lot of anger towards the church and want more time venting? I’m not sure I understand him. His religious blood pressure has been building for a while with everything happening in his branch. He needs to release steam, but he’s in a place where he has to spew rather than work on solutions. He doesn’t want to be critiqued in any way (even positively); he just wants to scream at the moment. The specifics aren’t as important as the emotional need to vent loudly without worrying about productivity or peace. He needs a place to scream. Hopefully, he will continue to read and get the benefit of our approach while screaming over at NOM or elsewhere.
If he needs free screaming and venting, FLAK is the best place IMO. It’s no holds barred there.
