GuestA friend of mine was recently quoted in this article. Here is about him and then the link to the article. This is very unique and wondered what you thought. Bridget April 15, 2011 at 4:17 pm #242737Anonymous
GuestThank you Bridget, He sounds like a remarkable young man. I am pleased he has received a fair degree of tolerance so far and I hope that continues.

GuestThanks Roy, What amazes me is that he has had the courage to speak at Evergreen and other places about his own personal revelation that God told him he will be married to a man someday. I know he went through alot of hell before God revealed this to him and one needs to follow what is right for themselves.

GuestI also hope that his courage won’t make him a target. As the example that followed illustrated, there are not consistent standards for bishops to adhere to at this point. I would hate for more conservative GA’s to put pressure on David’s bishop because of the additional attention. But it sounds like David is comfortable being true to himself regardless of what that eventually means for his church membership. I admire that. April 16, 2011 at 12:11 am #242740Anonymous

GuestUntil we have walked in their shoes, we really can’t judge. Thanks for your comments everyone. I just gave the youth pastor of our local Nazerene church a copy of my book as he works with gay youth in the community. It is so interesting how God uses us to help all his children. -
