Just a flag on this new member. In my opinion, he’s not dealing with church issues, he’s got a self-image problem and some serious depressive thoughts. We’ll need to keep an eye on him and if he needs help not found on our board. Agreed. I had the same thoughts when I approved the post. There are some people who just are “weird” – for lack of a better word – and also some who are “emotionally-challenged”. He might be strongly both.
