Hello to all…… My name here is ‘ferfun’ meaning I am striving to find more joy and fun
in my life, which has been challenging emotionally for the most part.
After growing up with an abusive alcoholic dad and a wonderful Mom
who died when she was 52; being a single mom of 5 for several years,
I met the man of my life. We were married for 13 years when he died
suddenly. Yes, we are sealed in the temple. Our youngest was 11 at
the time. I am seeking more humility.

There are many theories about evil and why bad stuff happens to good people. Some of it fits in pretty well with LDS theology, some of it doesn’t.
We are able to explore some of these issues, if that is what you are seeking.

Hi Ferfun, It does sound like you’ve had a rough road, but things seem to be looking up for you.
Your post reminds me to lighten up – that life in a way could be viewed as a game – with a series of different rule sets.
