Velvet Elvis, Sex God, and Jesus Wants to Save Christians

I started a post some time back about Love Wins, a book by Rob Bell and I wanted to add that I’ve recently listened to the audiobooks for his other works:

Velvet Elvis (repainting the Christian faith)

Sex God (not at all what you think)

and

Jesus Wants to Save Christians (a political view of the Bible and the dangers of unbridled empire).

All these books are, in my opinion, fascinating, uplifiting, and well worth the read. Rob Is quite good at asking thought-provoking questions and pushing listeners/readers to move beyond their comfort zones and view the world and their faith through a wider (and frequently more Christ-like) lens.
