My instinct is to ask him to go ahead and just make it a long comment on the original thread, since I don’t think we need another thread focused on Mormon Think. I also want to go back on to the site and try to get a second feel for it, since I really did have some reservations the first time I looked. What do all of you think?
I was actually concerned it was some odd troll. But it looks like it’s really that guy. I read through his post. It looks reasonable to me. We were talking about his site. He wanted to respond to various comments. MT is a major site in the world of internet Mormonism. I would like to give them the courtesy of sharing how they view their site, from their perspective.
I agree with Ray: I think it should go back into the thread he is responding to instead of making a new thread. It was an old thread, but this responses will turn it back into a new thread.
I approved the post and merged it into the original thread. I hope that’s OK with everyone. I think the post is tame enough. I emailed back and forth with the guy a couple times. He seems very reasonable. He expressed support for our site, and they do link to us as a resource. I think he just wanted to explain his perspective. I think the discussion, if anything, will be positive. We can keep an eye on it though. It’s here:
