Back-to-back re-intropductions

It’s been about a year since I’ve posted here. My professional and family life keep me distracted. My next assignment as an active duty chaplain brought me to Fort Sill, OK. I’m wrapping up two weeks of leave, and the free-time has given me some quiet in which to assess my life in general–that can be scary. I still counsel with people experiencing crises of faith–and although these are meaningful interactions, they don’t serve the purpose of friendship and connection. The interaction I enjoyed on this forum is unparalleled. I miss it, so I’m back. I still listen to MS and MM, but the MS FB page is overwhelmingly angry and one-sided. I maintain my TR (for both professional and personal reasons) and teach GD about every-other-week. Preaching at different Protestant services on post helped me develop the skill to speak belief into a narrow context of faith, even if that narrowness no longer speaks to me. So although I can be comfortable just about anywhere, I don’t much feel at home anywhere.
