    I just came across this talk from Russell Hancock of the Menlo Park stake presidency:

    I love how he stresses the importance of probing — asking questions, seeking answers, testing what we’ve been told. If I had been given this concept of faithful living my faith crisis would have looked much different.

    The fact that this teaching does exist in the church has been a huge tool for me to use in my faith reconstruction, to me it is essential and I am thrilled to find it in teachings wherever I can.

    Thanks for posting this.

    I’m a Moroni 10:4 Mormon myself, and I’ve had a hard time relating to people who don’t have those types of experience. This talk gave a me a lot of insight into how it works for other people. This has given me a lot to think about.
