GuestOk…so I am VERY VERY VERY internet savvy. My expertise is mostly technical as I have been online since ’91. That is why i find it slightly embarrased to ask this question….what is the bloggernacle? Ok…so i am not an online socialite. I am an engineer and tend to keep the internet as a technical resource… Now I find myself in this swirling storm of information, questions, opinions, etc and the church reiterating “ask your bishops and stake presidents” policy…when most of us know where that leads….and to be honest I don’t want to shake the foundations of others beliefs….heck…I think all belief systems (even scientific) requires the suspension of realityto some degree….who am i to become a rabble rouser of other faith.
so now i am hearing of the Bloggernacle….supposedly LDS discussion forums, etc…I started searching but i got as many or more anti-LDS sites as I did “LDS thinking” sites….and I really am not looking for fuel to fan flames of hating church…i am more looking for a way to keep my faith as in tact as possible but with all the information….
Is there a list of “Bloggernacle” sites that are not made up of bitter people with axes to grind (strict LDS or Anti-LDS)?

GuestThe Bloggernacle is a term that was coined when a few of the large member-administered, Mormon-themed group blogs were started. It is a bit of an amorphous designation, but it generally refers only to sites that are at least sympathetic to the LDS Church – regardless of their particular line in the theological, doctrinal sand. I have a number of the major group sites linked on my personal blog, as well as a few aggregate lists you can see to find lots of different blogs – group and individual. You can see them at:

GuestCheck out: By Common Consent, Wheat and Tares, Things of My Soul, Doves and Serpents, Patheos, Life on Gold Plates, One Eternal Round, Faith Promoting Rumor, Ask Mormon Girl, Feminist Mormon Housewives, Zelophehad’s Daughters, Modern Mormon Men, Mormon Heretic, Mormon Dialogue and Discussion, Feast Upon the Word, Faces East, Exponent 2, Mormon Matters, Segullah. I know there are more and I’ll think of them in a minute.

GuestThanks everyone…now i can be a Blormon too! November 22, 2012 at 7:34 am #261816Anonymous
GuestBlormon, hahah! Moderatebutpassionate.com is good too if you’re one of the few democrats in Utah (do they still hunt them on saturdays with shotguns in St George… Maybe that was just a rumour).
It’s a refreshing read even though I’m neither a Democrat nor in Utah (I’m ‘of no political affiliation’… Some might say I swing both ways, but I’ve convinced my wife otherwise).
