Couldn’t help but thinking how nice it is to have friends to talk to about this stuff! Even if most of you are only text based (sure be sad to find out you are all just “bots” running on some church computer…just gathering evidence to pull my heretical butt into a church court) Anyways..thanks aall..yo make my days better.

Brian and I are bots, but everyone else is the real deal. :shh: My thanks to everyone, as well. I love this forum, and I appreciate all of your attempts to keep this the type of site we envisioned when we started it. The admins and moderators can’t do that on our own; all of you are a vital part of it, as well.
Maybe we should to a Turing test on the board. A bot would say it was a person, and a person would say he was a person. Ray said he was a bot, therefore he does not exist.
But seriously, having this board has made my life better. It has also improved my relationship with my husband and children, since I get to talk about all this stuff with you instead of them.
I would also like to add my “thanks”. This board has also helped me on my own personal journey. I greatly appreciate the many people who post here and provide frank but respectful opinions. I am grateful to the moderators who keep things from getting out of line. And I am grateful for a world where such technology makes such communication possible. (I think I’m dissolving into testimony-speak but I really am grateful!) I spent the last 6 hours preparing a talk for tomorrow about testimonies, and thanks to you guys and the fact that I can steal your ideas I can do all this and still be true to myself. I want to especially thank Roy for his permission to use his talk. I used the crap out of it but changed it enough to make it unique to me. If it wasn’t for this site I don’t think I could keep my calling on the HC. I can barely keep it the way it is and just knowing that there are others out there that feel the same has been such a help.
