Anyone familiar with the prophecies of St Malachy about the 112 popes? Well, it seems we’re on the penultimate one just now, and the next will be the last. Will Peter the Roman, the Pope after Benedict preside over the end of the world?
I don’t believe in prophecies. Especially ones about the end of the world. Which is a long, long long ways off. Now the end of yet another civilization(s) as we know it morphed into another. Yes I believe that. No civilization last longer then 1-2000 years. Many die off sooner. But hey, anything can happen. Just don’t count on it. Thanks for posting though. I enjoy reading about cultures and schools of thought. Prophecy is a big indicator into the minds of those of a time and their internal thinking process.
