GuestToday the sun was out on the way home from church and I was reminded of this quote: “Whether I see it scattered down among tangled woods, or beaming broad across the fields, or hemmed in between brick buildings, or tracing out the figure of the casement on my chamber floor, still I recognize the Sabbath sunshine. – And ever let me recognize it! Some illusions, and this among them, are the shadows of great truths.” – Nathaniel Hawthorne

GuestStill sunny down in Eugene also. I heard today that they are making the Salem area it’s own mission. All these new missionaries and no where to go. Be prepared to be called on to do more to share the Gospel with your friends and neighbors so we can keep everyone busy. I’m really looking forward to have all these 18 year olds hounding me to do more. I actually spent 8&1/2 hours at church today and all of the meeting were pretty good. I told my wife when I got home the I didn’t come home angry so it was a good day. I really don’t like having that attitude but lately that’s how it’s been.

GuestToday was rainy and foggy. Perhaps because I didn’t attend church today and am now wandering away from the iron rod into the mist? Actually it’s been a good day. I read this post earlier and enjoyed contemplating it. there’s a lot of wisdom in that quote. You could say it was one of the rays of sunshine that broke through the mist today.

Thank you.

GuestI’m glad it helped. Sunday is my fail-safe. Although I didn’t go to 8 1/2 hours of meetings like church0333. If you enjoy the topic, I recommend
