Kevin Barney wrote a post today on By Common Consent about the Book of Abraham that is very interesting. I recommend it, with the caveat that it reads like an apologetic defense in some cases but it is an excellent overview of the main ways the BofA has been approached over time in the Church – and it has some really interesting information that I accept as making it hard to reject the BofA as strictly an invention from Joseph Smith’s imagination.
