Just curious if anyone knows how the full-time mission leadership is organized now that there are so many females serving.

At one time, the president had two Assistants, then there were zone leaders, and then district leaders, and then regular proselyting missionaries — of the male persuasion (at least, that was the way it was in my mission). Sister missionaries were regular proselyting missionaries within districts the elders led.

Is there are a parallel female leadership organization like this now?

    I’m simply curious….

There now are female missionaries who are trainers for other female missionaries, and these trainers report directly to the Mission President. Essentially, in practical terms, they now function much like APs for the female missionaries.

There also is an expanded role for the Mission President’s wife. It’s not an equal authority role, but it’s a lot closer than it used to be.
