The two runaway favourites were the ones that were head and shoulders above the rest to my ears too. They both had a real depth of understanding and a compassion for two groups of people who need a hand of empathy and fellowship as well as an acknowledgment that things hadn’t always been done or approached in the best way in the past.
I was taught by my mission president that an element of inspiration is information. I wonder whether this response data will be the information that will aid the inspiration to have more messages on these types of topics.

It’s good to see that order, frankly – and it’s interesting that the only two in the top 10 from non-apostles (Elder Dube and Elder Soares) were my favorite in that category, as well. I think it shows that we aren’t as weird or abnormal in some ways as we perceive ourselves to be.

Indeed. I found it really encouraging that perhaps even the majority of our membership our more interested in hearing messages of inclusiveness and fallibility rather than dogmatic ‘right and wrong’ messages. Perhaps if the quiet majority could speak up more often we’d have a church to look forward to.
I need to believe it’s possible these days.
