My visiting teacher called tonight wanting to come visit me on Sunday I told her. Sunday won’t work I had a family thing.She got mad at me. She had never came visiting teaching. She made an appointment last month and stood me up. She told me I didn’t call her back and that is why she didn’t come last month I know that her and her partner were call and talked to about not doing their visiting teaching. I think she called me because she is mad that she got called on because she isn’t doing her visiting teaching. She was very rude and told me that she was going to tel the RS president I didn’t want visiting teachers. I told her I wanted visiting teachers. She said some awful things. I have never meet this women before. I told her needed to get off the phone. I am and going to let the RS president know I want visiting teachers. I am trying to become active in my ward. But sometimes the Baptist Church looks like a nice place to go. LOL Nothing will surprise me here in Utah. I not sure I will be going tomorrow. I think it would be more peaceful stay home. Donna, really sorry for such a horrible experience. Some people are simply rude. I would suggest you write/email the RSP and tell her of your experience and desire to have someone else teach you. Don’t let someone else’s negativity impact your values and priorities.

What Mackay said. Do let your RSP know you want visiting teachers and do let her know of your experience. I’m sorry you had to have an experience like this and hope you don’t let it stand in the way of your progress.
Thanks for your support. I called and talk to the visiting teacher supervisor. She is going to talk to the RS. They are aware that my visiting teacher has some issue with doing her visiting teacher. I am hoping they change my visiting teachers. I would like to have visiting teachers. I am praying that this matter gets resolved. I just called the RS pres. I am glad I did. My VT called and told the Pres. some things I didn’t say. They are going to pray about getting me some new visiting teachers. I’m glad you talked to her and glad they are willing to find you a new visiting teacher. It’s good to act and not let yourself merely be acted upon – to be an agent unto yourself. 🙂 Good job!
