Everyone, I just want to short circuit any possible angst over or speculation about my username change. There was no pressure of any kind from anyone – no negative experience – nothing that needs to concern anyone here in any way. There is one very specific reason, but it’s something that doesn’t need public explanation or warrant concern from anyone.
Please trust me about this. Please don’t read into this more than it is.
Welcome to StayLDS, Curt! I won’t, but you’ve got me darned curious. No explanation necessary though — I respect your privacy. I was sorry you were going to reduce your time posting here as I would read almost all of your posts. Nonetheless, as someone who deregistered their username a year ago due to my tendency to overpost, I understand completely. Hopefully you will share your experiences working in the community at some point. I would like to hear about them.
My own experiences are good, and full of healing.
Ah, I think I know… Curt was the caretaker in the Blues Brothers, which also featured Ray Charles?! Or maybe not.
A couple of people mentioned the name change in comments in other threads, so I thought I would bump this up so they (and others who missed it) will understand. Yeah, I’ve been so busy the last few days and my time here has been limited and I did miss your post about this Curt. I did wonder, but in the long run it doesn’t matter – you’re still the same guy and I respect your privacy at least as much as you respect mine. Speaking of missing things, I really have missed being here.

:shifty: Ive been outed – and I thought I was being so obtuse that nobody would understand. 😳 Confession is good for the soul. 
Sorry for the whiplash, everyone, but I am going back to my original username. The reason I used my first name alone for the last couple of months has passed. (It was not church-related in any way.) Just wanted to add this note for those who started participating after the username change who would be confused without an updated explanation.
Don’t worry another couple of bad jokes up my sleeve. Don’t know what it was about in the 1990s, with those Ray themed albums.
