GuestI don’t know. Aren’t we supposed to beware of symposia??? Oh wait, they have a pot-luck so it must be ok. J/K 😆 I live too far away.

GuestMayyyybe. I’d have to take time off work and leave my wife home with the kids on date night…. probably not worth it to me. I like how they do it the day before general conference. Haha.

GuestD. Jeff Burton is the creator/writer of the book Borderlands, which has been around for a while and is a precursor to the internet, for people going through faith crisis. I believe he writes a column on this same subject for Sunstone Magazine. I read the book at the beginning of my transition and found it comforting. http://www.amazon.com/Eternal-Borderlands-Detours-along-Celestial-ebook/dp/B005BYPAUU March 26, 2014 at 5:31 am #282546Anonymous

Come on Sam, nice try, you can make a canoe and make it over, I’m sure. Don’t let a few details stand in your way. Seize the day.

GuestSad dads. I’m not gonna make it. I’ve got too much going on today and too many billz to spare $10. Have fun, those of you who are going! March 29, 2014 at 11:38 am #282552Anonymous
GuestTim is a relative of mine who struggled coming out as gay because he was trying soooo hard to make the “right” choices during his teen years. He is a fine young man and a good speaker. Joanna Brooks wrote the book “Book of Mormon Girl” and has done interviews and such on mormonstories, not to mention a blog. The essays Jeff Burton has written in his book were also helpful to me. I think it would be pretty good. April 13, 2014 at 6:59 pm #282553Anonymous
GuestI haven’t watched them yet, but here is the link to a series of videos from the conference. I think there are 8 total. I jumped into number 1 and the speaker was addressing Stage 4. It sounded appealing. Anyway here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N23zzx-vadc April 15, 2014 at 3:18 pm #282554Anonymous
GuestJoanna Brooks begins in segment 6, I recommend watching her. She gives a powerful message on shame. -
