Confussed Mo’s Post

Almost surely is fabricated, especially coming from the UK right now with its focus on tithing and the temple with the wording she used (and the username including the “Mo” abbreviation). The full text is:

Hi I am Lex and anew convert who was baptised on Saturday, thought the euphoria would last more than 4 days but o well.

Anyway tithing. I wasn’t taught about tithing by the missionaries, yes they showed me a card of baptimal questions which had one about tithing and I should have asked then but I was excited and wasn’t actually asked any of the questions at my interview as the whole 45 mins was focused on my homosexuality. I do not have a problem with tithing as I have been given a lot so it’s only right to share. However, I will not give my tithe to the church I want to give it to charities which I am happy to prove I am doing at any point to the bishop or any one. The missionaries told me stories of how a poor elderly woman still paid her tithe in their ward even though it left her with out rent and food money, this is disgraceful. Not only should she have been excused the church should have been giving her money not the other way round! I think the story was meant to be insperational but it infuriated me and reminded me of finacial abuse.

Does this mean I will never be allowed to go to temple? Is temple that great anyway?

I found her. She is a lesbian graduate student in the UK. I believe she is a troll, given what I found about her (not just the last sentence.)

Does anyone want to reach out to her and get more info, or should we simply delete her account?
