    Agreed. That has been something new over the last six months is taking back the responsibility for my own spirituality. I see the Church actively encouraging people to take responsibility, but its difficult when what you feel and believe is some times at odds with the church and its leadership. Being a bit outside the box requires more active attention.

    It’s liberating and hard at the same time.

    For me this quote points to the major issue in faith crisis which is the angst of transition shifting from my authority for my beliefs and thoughts being extrinsic to their becoming intrinsic.

    Ambuguity can be the friend of diversity.. So in that respect, I like the comment.
