happened to hear this in the car with my teenage daughter. I asked her whatshe thought and she was completely unphased. Said it didnt matter and I replied tnat some day it might matter to her and that she could talk to me about it.

the comments at the bottom of the link reminded me of my doubts and why this and other church history topics are so emotional.

Our college aged daughter said the same thing. She really isn’t worried. It’s not an anchor either. Now other things might tip her but she figures it was Joseph’s problem and he has to fix it.

Her dad even pressed her, “What if it was reinstated, etc.” Her answer was, “Well I guess I get a lesser kingdom, but then so do lots of others, even people who lived during that time.”

I am glad you got to listen to it together, that always helps a good conversation.

Same here. My oldest just isn’t concerned about it. She’s 21. My 20 yr old daughter has a huge deal with it.

People are different on what they think about and what they choose to park. Our brains only handle so much…so we all do cafeteria style.
