GuestI love the following quote, and it addresses one HUGE piece of advice we give regularly – to slow down. It reminds me a lot of Pres. Uchtdorf’s GC talk in which he taught about how important it is to slow down in times of turbulence. (Seriously, the man addresses faith crises / transitions much more often than most people realize. He really does get it.) Quote:Between stimulus and response, there is space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

GuestThe advice to slow down has been the best advice I have been given. Since this all started for me, I felt like I needed to make a decision so that I could stop feeling so awful!! Little did I know that the slowing down was where the peace was, not in making a decision. Thank you all for such great words of advice. I am happy to sit in the “space” for a while longer!! Perfect quote March 9, 2015 at 10:43 pm #296367Anonymous
GuestI love Viktor Frankl. I need to get back to reading him every morning. It might have saved my Sunday.

That makes two of us
. Glad you were also able to slow down. I can tell from your posts you’re a lot more relieved than you were before.

GuestPrayer, meditation, being calm…all good times to gain peace and be comfortable in that space.
