It’s a nice sentiment, but it’s a pipe dream. The political and religious divides are too great, and such mass agreement will never materialize. Just my opinion, of course.

Like others have said, it sounds nice. My take is that the US cant agree on the definition of family right now. When that happens maybe we can have a broad coalition.

Generally speaking I believe a stable family is a good path to happiness and therefore I would welcome promoting healthy families.
