    Hi Ward Members –

I love this ward because you reach out to me. Yes I have been quiet as of late. The past month of Mormonism has taken it’s toll. I have still attended but just don’t dare open my mouth or type. I am seasick. I keep praying the Old Ship of Zion will sink once and for all.

I had the pleasure of hiding away in my daughters singles ward and out of state for the past few days. It was a welcome reprieve. Church was not a reprieve, but I look back and find I was stronger internally than I thought. I hunted hard to find the good, to contribute (which I did), and for the moment kept my pain to myself. What this Sunday holds or even tomorrow I can not guess.

But I just wanted to thank all of you who sent me messages and reached out, it means a lot. Thanks.

Now just imagine what it would be like if you could actually hear the Sacrament meeting talks every Sunday.

Thanks and good luck. Hugs and handshakes from your fellow StayLDS 1st ward members where our motto is, “we don’t care who your parents are sleeping with – join us anyway”.

Yes NightSG, it really is novel to be in a tomb of a room.

One of the nicest features of my mom’s Methodist church is that they closed off a classroom/overflow area at the back of the sanctuary, replaced the sliding divider with soundproof picture windows, and made it into a nursery area. Not only is it quiet for everyone else, but the parents in the nursery have their own volume controls for the speakers at each end of the room.
