I have disapproved two posts by Parture. The first, a couple weeks back, was a direct attack on Mormonism. Today’s was more veiled, talking about the prophesied Missouri temple and how it’s dimensions are larger than the the state itself (at least according to his/her interpretation on LDS theology). I should have copied and pasted before both disapprovals, I suppose, because I don’t a place where they go when they’re disapproved. At any rate, I also warned the user the first time and I would be inclined to ban. Thoughts?
If they were direct attacks, and if the first one was written and posted after your warning, I support banning – without reservation. Go ahead and do it, unless someone else objects.
I am with you DJ. Those aren’t even topics that address staying in any format. Ban away. Where should we go though when this happens?
I like the idea of copying and pasting the posts into this section, so everyone can see them. I would move the posts to the Parking Lot section (which is admins and mods only), then copy and paste them into a thread here for us to discuss. If we agree to delete them and ban the person, we can do so without anyone else having to see them.
I agree. Life’s too short.
