I agree. Those questions are much more like what might be asked on LDS.net. I almost recommended that to him, but couldn’t bring myself to do it because I dislike their self righteous arrogance so much.

I don’t really have a problem with his take on things, Heber, I worry that we might taint him. He seems to be asking orthodox questions from an orthodox point of view – in an unorthodox place (sort of like trying to order kosher at McDonald’s, you might really get what you’re looking for).

I just wanted to give you a heads up. Most of the members that actively participate at StayLDS are either struggling with belief or have experienced a faith crisis at some point in their lives. Quite a bit of the discussion here follows support for people in those two categories.

StayLDS is for everyone but I thought I’d mention that to help you know where most people on this site are coming from and also to let you know what to expect as you read the various threads here.

There are a couple of small things in his post that tweak my troll bell a little, but he might be exactly what he appears to be. Let’s keep an eye on him for a bit and see if he switches tone.
