GuestHi everyone. It’s a new day, and the sun is shining brightly! Well, at least it is metaphorically. My wife and I had a good chat last night and things are a lot better. We chased the old ghosts away… Again… And we talked about what we can do to chase them away faster next time, because I am sure there will be a next time.
We have been reading the New Testament for family scriptures. It doesn’t carry the emotional baggage that the BoM does for the Mrs., and it has been a pretty good experience, plus we are getting a big dose of Jesus, and I think he’s a pretty cool guy.
Anyway… today we ready Matthew chapter 18. It was the perfect message to hear this morning after the events of yesterday. Matthew 18 contains the parable of the unforgiving servant. As well as the admonition to forgive “seventy times seven”. Dear wife and I have had our moments, both good and bad. We have both done some pretty crappy things to each other, and despite all of that, she has always been so quick to forgive me. She is pretty awesome, and I am so grateful to be with her.
So again, it’s a new day, and the sun is shining brightly. Thanks to everyone for your support yesterday. I needed it, and you all delivered.

GuestAlways glad to hear stuff like this. You have made progress, but do expect future progress to sometimes be more “two steps forward, one step back”. Be glad you can chat with your wife (do thank her for being willing to talk). Thanks for letting us know. January 27, 2016 at 4:14 pm #308632Anonymous
GuestGlad to hear things are better. The first scriptures I read when returning to activity were the four gospels. Nothing against the BoM, but the gospels are powerful. January 27, 2016 at 4:19 pm #308633Anonymous
