This is a great video on Ted Talk. It has some application in some of the issues we face & discuss on this site.

I especially like the points she makes at the end.

I had to download the video to watch it — when I clicked on it, it took me to a different speaker on how to make conversation.

My takeaways from this talk — about a woman who, in the name of religion, was taught to spread hate and bigotry and conflict from a young age, and who did an about face — was the importance of right living.

By right living, I mean doing good. I think Ray could comment more on the philosophy which I believe involves in focusing on doing good to other, and avoiding dogma, and all the philosophical stuff that is supposed to drive it. So, rather than debate whether the priesthood is necessary to act in the name of God, go out and help the poor, an elderly person, or someone who needs it. Don’t get bogged down in the doctrinal details to the point you are in conflict with others.
