These new users both applied today, a few hours apart. Ribet88 was approved by someone else. I deleted the Agenbola303 account. They had the same ip address, one claiming to be in Vietnam and the other claiming Indonesia (the IP address is Australian, which could be in either case). The link to the website in the profiles is a gambling site. I also question the similar but vague justifications, but time will tell. I chose not to accept either one when I saw them in my inbox. Maybe it was rude but I just didn’t feel comfortable with them. Should we put a hold on Ribet88 and send a message to clarify their justification before having access? I approved ribet88 before the request for agenbola303 came in. It was a little sketchy but they had the word “mormon” in their justification text. I figured in cases like this where I’m on the fence I’d let their initial post that has to be approved serve as a better filter.
On second look I’m convinced that this was a spam account so I deleted user ribet88. Requiring approval of the initial post is a good filter but I don’t want a spammer to have a user where they can log into the site, however restricted the user.
