StayLDS vs. NOM

I agree with Sheldon quite a bit on his comment he made on another thread

Even after all this, there is still good in the church, and you found a little piece of that.

As you all know, I am about to back off a bit on my church attendance and callings – but I am rather adamant that I am NOT going to be an angry ex-mo.

I still can see some very good things going on in the church for some people. I have seen it really help pull people out of the gutter. Our church does not go to the gutter looking for folks as much as some churches/organizations do, but if someone is standing up and trying they get support.

Which has me thinking – is that the position of New Order Mormons? Has anyone here really looked into NOM and see how it differs from StayLDS?
