“Today we are in this humble chapel, and it has the same meaning to the Savior as any of those big, big meetinghouses we see all over Utah,” he says. “Sometimes I wish we had only these kinds of facilities because we would turn to God even better.”
One of the most moving services I ever attended was a Methodist service in the woods behind a campground; the hillside was a natural amphitheater, and the only furniture other than some logs to sit on was a small folding camp table for the altar candles. Really puts things in perspective when you worship using only what He has provided directly.
