I really enjoyed the blog.
I personally do not believe that God sends or allows things to happen to us in order to transform us into a beautiful temple. I fall more into the camp of “random things happen in life but with God we can make something beautiful out of the whole mess.” However, I fully respect that different people find meaning at different points along the spectrum.
Long live the misfits!
Bridget this is lovely. My misfitness hasn’t found a healing like the blogger has. My issues are different. But I sincerely rejoice when anyone feels truly valued. I also find being a misfit in the technology age a gift. I couldn’t do it with out everyone here.

In wider Christian terms we very much are. However I think in any given society which openly insists on a large degree of conformity there will be many who think they are alone as misfits.
Jesus served the misfits. Just saying.
