Just as the ancient Hebrews were saved by the blood of the blood of their sacrificial lamb covering their doors, we are are covered by the blood of the ultimate sacrificial lamb, Jesus Christ. Just as they were saved by the grace of God, so are we. I believe it significant that Jesus was crucified on Passover and believe this was a sign or symbol to us.
