Elder Christofferson said in 2015 that members can support gay marriage without facing church discipline, on social media or by participating in Gay Pride Parades or in any other way, as long as they are not attacking the LDS Church or trying to pull people away from it. Given the recent brewhaha over the 12-year-old girl’s “coming out” testimony, here is the link – to read and to share with others. It would be good to have as a reference, just in case someone needs it for a local leader:

I thought this was old news. I linked the wrong article, and I can’t find the link yet to the article I saw saying Elder Christofferson had repeated his earlier statement, so I changed the original focus of the post. If I find the other link, and if it is legit, I will post it. Otherwise, I will leave the original linked article to have as a reference.
