    I locked this thread after Dande48 posted some stuff about why he feels that Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016.

    Dande may have some good points but I anticipate them to be controversial and not in line with the mission of this site.

    I personally would vote to just keep the thread locked and call it good but, as always, I am open to other ideas. :mrgreen:

    That thread made me worry from the get-go. I’m not even comfortable with my reply there.

    I like OON’s response. That’s enough of a punctuation on the topic IMO.

    If left open I’ll have to fight the constant temptation to respond to Dande’s post and really offend some people.

    Besides, there are other places on the internet if people want to talk politics.

    I agree with locking it. I also felt uncomfortable from the git-go and purposely didn’t comment. There are plenty of forums out there for politics, including some LDS and Christian sites.

    Roy – Great call. I debated before I posted it. I try to keep politics off most threads. Locking it is perfect.

    Now when I run for President, I do want a complete section devoted to me, but we have a few years so no hurry.
