All, The main landing page (
http://www.staylds.com/ ) hadn’t been updated in a while.I made some edits:
Removed:
Link to faceseast – that site has been taken down
- Link to mormonnarratives – it was a dead link
- Link to paypal donate – because it was a link to donate to Open Stories Foundation. I though about changing the link to point to our new paypal account, but the Open Stories Foundation link had a nice little thing where it said it was registered as a charity and I’m pretty sure our new one isn’t. If we want to add a donate button back to the main landing page I can research how.

This was just an effort to remove dead links. The main landing page is less important than the forums but it would be helpful to get input from the admin/mod gang to see if anything else on the main page should be updated. I’ve never visited half the blogs and links on the right hand side. We may want to confer about what links should be on the main landing page. For instance, is puremormonism a pro-LDS blog?
I’m far less experienced with how to make edits to the main landing page, but we can muscle through it.
Yikes. I’m finding that there are many dead links on the main page. Honestly, I haven’t looked at the main page in years. Thanks for doing this. I will try to remember to look at some point. I would not consider puremormonism a pro-LDS cite. I would like to be careful about the links we provide.
Yeah, I wouldn’t have even thought about it had someone not contacted me about updating an article we hosted on that page. I removed the puremormonism link.
Thoughts on adding a link to the churchistrue blog? I haven’t read it (or much of any other blog for that matter) but a handful of people that visit this site rave about it.

Thanks for doing a refresh I do not think we can remove the “sister sites” without potentially creating some hurt feelings from the open stories foundation.
I am still hopeful that they can assist in covering any shortfall that we do not cover in our donations. They link to us so it only seems fair to reciprocate. Also I believe John Dehlin owns the domain name so we do not want to ruffle any feathers there.
Maybe adding some more links would be the easier option. BCC, FMH, Wheat and Tares, I have read some of Church is True and I personally would not mind linking to his site.
I like the banner logo. Very nice. I was just going to ask who did it. Thank you.
