Pres. Nelson’s talk this morning is one of the best I have heard in my lifetime.

I would encourage everyone here to watch it (not just read it).

I agree. This one is a gem in an otherwise mundane conference, and a refreshing clear departure and different emphasis from the covenant path/keep the commandments that so many others have emphasized.

Agreed. I’ll be rewatching that one. There is so much contention in so many places in the world today. Great message.

Agreed. It’s the best talk he’s given. He taught people a principle to live by. It’s so refreshing to get a talk like that, a principle that’s relevant to our lives.

Another stand-out talk was by Vern Stanfill on Sunday afternoon. He addressed scrupulosity and reminded people of grace.

I was pleased to hear it. Was this the only talk given by RMN this conference? DW was watching and didn’t see any others.

He spoke briefly at the end of the Sunday afternoon session – mostly temple announcements.

I like how general this is. Most of it I could read and not feel alienated since I’m not on the bandwagon anymore. Except the part about the temple etcetera. He gave a talk on gratitude a while ago that I also felt was good and had an impact on the way I structure and approach prayer. Gratitude is a part of my life now, partly due to his influence.

Part of me wishes I heard this talk when I was a young man…
