journeygirl……thank you so much for posting this! I was unaware of this interview. There is more to Chieko’s story than most will ever know. She was a miracle within our midst! Her honesty shed light on so many areas. She was not always appreciated as we appreciate her. She was strong enough not to let it bother her and continued to do her Savior’s work. It bothers me tremendously when women do not know who she was or what she accomplished while in the General RS Presidency. And she was so humble. She could not understand why women would drive for hours to hear her speak when she came to our area. She was one of the two most remarkable people I have ever met in my life. May we all not be clams but be blessed with her softness when speaking up!
