Provided one has the necessary filters when interfacing with people who are adamant certain cultural values and even flawed opinions of former and current Church leaders are official doctrine.
:problem: Ya, I guess “filters” help sometimes, or not caring if others disagree with you is also a way to go.
I don’t feel people “force” me to answer or say anything…I am responsible for my beliefs and actions, and seek peace by finding goodness and respect. That is independent of others and their beliefs.
My Buddhist-Mormon self meditates upon:
When someone asks you a question, answer him or her sincerely, and when you are not asked, do not force your teaching upon others.
