GuestAs some of you know, I have been out of work since the end of the year. Our extended families have been a wonderful help, and I really appreciate their willingness to send what little they can. The Bishop’s Storehouse also is a blessing, and I have a deep love of the concept of Fast Offerings. Anyway, I have two “final” interviews coming up next week – one in Missouri that will get me into the field I want to pursue and one here that will pay really well. Both are in the general field of education, which is my abiding passion.
Prayers would be appreciated. If you aren’t comfortable with praying right now, whatever positive thoughts you can send my way also would be appreciated.

GuestRay– I will definitely keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers, send positive thoughts, and do the “help my brothers and sisters find employment” rain dance. Of course, given that Missouri would be uplifted by having your family move into our state I am biased in hoping that opportunity works out for you
But first and foremost I hope you are blessed with the position that will take you where our HF needs you the most right now and which would be most fulfilling to you…
Best wishes!!

GuestGood luck Ray. If your specialty ever turns out to be computer programming, or engineering I could help with a job at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory!! In fact, since I’m leaving here, there will shortly be an opening. In any case, I will send positive vibes your direction!! Good luck!

GuestI’ve just been offered a position as an Asst. Director of Admissions at a liberal arts college in Missouri. (Culver-Stockton College) I will start June 15th. I have wanted to move into college admissions for a while, so this is great news. The pay is minimal at first, but it should be enough to pay the bills – and the growth potential there and in the general field is very good.
