I welcome this edition to the MS podcast family. From the “about” page:

    Quote:

A Thoughtful Faith features the stories and perspectives of intelligent, thoughtful believers who maintain a strong faith in Mormonism despite their awareness of and/or struggles with common challenges and issues. Our hope is to model potential paths for individuals in faith transition or crisis that allow them to maintain faith, as well as provide resources for thoughtful believers everywhere.

The first interview is Greg Prince.

Most of the way through the Greg Prince interview. It’s really good. I always value his insights.

Fantastic. I stayed up last night reading his Chieko article from Dialogue. I am listening to it again. Thanks, can’t wait to see what else is on it’s way.

I liked the term they repeated for describing the Sunday services that should be improved:

    Quote:

    We practice Christ-centered boredom.

I also liked the part where they talk about “Owning your religion”. There is a good message in that, and that a person needs to develop the skills (political, communication, etc) to know how to navigate through things, but that we should each look at the religion as ours to own, not just sit back and criticize.

It was a good podcast, I thought.
