My daughter was very insistent about wanting to go to BYU. I know it is so much harder to get into now. She had been offered a 4 year full-ride scholarship to University of Utah—but she held tight to BYU. She got a 33 on her ACT—and was accepted to BYU and has been given a scholarship for full tuition for the first year—-she told me they don’t give out a whole lot of them. She also came home from the award ceremony at school last night (where were we????) wearing a green scarf around her shoulders and a white cord and a gold cord. The cords were for being president of school clubs—the green scarf is because she is in the top 10 of her graduating class!!!!! I figured she would be. She didn’t know which “spot” she is in, though—guess we will find out next week at graduation. Christine
