It seems like there are lots of staylds forum members from AZ. I just wondered how many and if any ever got together outside the forum? That raises an interesting question: have the Administrators of the site ever thought about a survey that would anonymously (or otherwise) identify where membership lives, would you be willing to meet, etc?
I’m new here so obviously don’t know anyone. I outed myself from AZ in another thread although I sorta wish I wouldn’t have. I like my confidentiality online for the time being. New Participant who will remain unnamed in this comment, in case you do what I am about to suggest: 🙂 Any participant can go back and edit any comment you have made in the past to remove any identifying information you don’t want available on a publicly viewable forum. That means you can delete your comment here, for example, if you edit your other ones.
To answer Minyan Man’s question: We have not done a formal survey of any kind, mostly because of the desires of many participants to remain completely anonymous. I don’t see that changing.
Others are fine with various information being known publicly, and I use my real name and have referenced my locations a few times. That means I am easy to identify, and I am totally fine with that. I also have met a few participants while traveling, but that has been from my posting about being somewhere and making the actual connections privately, one-on-one.
I am aware of that. 
I considered it but just left it for now. Sometimes the mormon community can be really small but I’m probably more paranoid than I should be.
:think: Well, I’m from Arizona, but then again, I do make that pretty obvious. For the most part, I am OK with anyone knowing what I write here, even my family (i.e. mom, dad, siblings…), but I won’t advertise it. Unsure, PM me if you are interested in getting together in person.
